Did You Know?
Kenya Youth Inter-County Sports Association games are more than just competition, they are a movement shaping the future of youth sports in Kenya.
Laikipia County holds a special place in this journey. In 2015, during his first term, Joshua Irungu, EGH launched the inaugural KYISA Games 1st Edition at Nanyuki Stadium marking a historic milestone in grassroots sports development.
Now in 2026, the Games return home to Nyahururu for the 11th Edition, bringing together young athletes aged 18–23 from all 47 counties to compete in:
⚽ Football
🏀 Basketball
🏐 Volleyball
🤾 Handball
But this year offers something even more special.
Just minutes from the competition venues lies the breathtaking Thomson's Falls — one of Kenya’s most iconic natural attractions.
What if the next Kenyan sports star you cheer for tomorrow is competing today at KYISA?
KYISA is where dreams begin, talent is discovered, and unity is built through sport. From the roar of the stadium to the mist of Thomson’s Falls, Nyahururu will become a meeting point of talent, culture, nature, and national pride.
